Angie Dickinson is a popular American actress who has been a prominent on-screen face for over six decades. His foray into acting began with his appearance in television shows, particularly in the Anthology Series around the 50s. Whose birth name is Angeline DickinsonBrown was born in Kulm, North Dakota, USA on September 30, 1931 to parents, Leo Henry Brown and Fredericka Brown, who raised her Catholic. She has three sisters, making her the second child of four daughters by her parents. From her last name, we can tell that she has heritage outside of America and rightly so, she is of German descent. His father, Leo, was the editor and publisher of a small town newspaper.

When she was 10, Angie and her family moved to Burbank, California and enrolled in Bellarmine-Jefferson High School. There, she became the lucky winner of the sixth annual Bill of Rights Essay Contest. In 1947, at the age of 15, when she graduated from high school, Dickinson continued her education at Immaculate Heart College. In college, she also worked at the Lockheed Air terminal as a secretary, as she had considered becoming a writer just like her father. Nevertheless, Angie graduated with a business degree in 1954.

In 1953, just before graduating, Angie Dickinson entered a beauty pageant where she finished second. As a result of this, she was lucky enough to meet a producer in the television industry who later helped her break into Hollywood as an actress.

She, however, retains the surname “Dickinson” from her previous marriage due to her popularity with that name. The following year, their only daughter together, Lea Nikki Bacharach was born. Unfortunately, it was a three month premature birth. Nikki had a few unfortunate complications including: visual impairment and Asperger’s Syndrome.

Due to this condition, Angie Dickinson has turned down a lot of big roles just to cure her daughter in the best possible way. However, Nikki was then placed in a psychiatric treatment center for adolescents for a period of nine years. Nikki managed to get into California Lutheran University, but after graduating, she could no longer pursue a career there because of the visual impairment she suffered from. Unfortunately, Nikki Bacharach committed suicide by suffocation in her apartment in the Thousand Oaks neighborhood of Ventura County to escape her situation. This happened on January 4, 2007, at the age of 40.
